From Fall 2017 to Fall 2018, The City Amplified brought together artists, archivists, scholars, historians, and researchers across New York City to share their work and explore collaborations. This publication came out of those conversations—focused on oral histories, radical archives, and public engagement. The project was supported by the Mellon Seminar on Public Engagement and Collaborative Research at the Center for Humanities at the Graduate Center, CUNY.
